Bentley V8i - SELECTseries 1 |
These days was announced awaited actualization of Bentley products V8i
- SELECTseries 1. Bentley SELECT subscribers can download these
products immediately. The most important innovations include the
support of Autodesk RealDWG libraries, improved 3D modelling and
dynamic views, the possibility of creating and referencing
geospatial PDF and the support of GIS formats SHP (ESRI),
MIF/MID/TAB (Mapinfo)..
Autodesk RealDWG support guarantees the highest level of fidelity
for DWG formats - Trusted DWG. Also included is support for
selected specialized objects of extensions, so-called Object
Enablers.
3D modeling - a new set of tools enables more efficient creation of
3D models. 3D input devices are also supported, for example 3D
mouse.
Dynamic views - automated tools for creating sheets, sections
elevations and details.
Geospatial PDF - possibility to attach coordinate system
information to this file format with the support for the next
referencing.
GIS format support - SHP a MIF/MID/TAB are available for
referencing and importing including the possibility of viewing
database data.
Complete integration of the Luxology rendering engine with the core
of MicroStation.
Available products: MicroStation V8i (08.11.07.171), MicroStation
PowerDraft V8i (08.11.07.172) and Bentley View V8i (08.11.07.171).
It is necessary to download and install Prerequisites for Bentley
Desktop Applications (08.11.07.03) before their installation.
