At the end of 2020, Železničná spoločnosť Cargo Slovakia, a.s. (ZSSK CARGO), connected the information system of fuel dispatching XMatik^®.NET/ISND to workplaces of the Railway Police. Through interconnection, ZSSK CARGO got better monitoring on consumption of fuel in locomotives (especially on its sudden decline).

How does the system communicate with the Railway Police? In case system detects a sudden drop in fuel level in the locomotive tank, which could be caused by, for example, stealing, it sends an e-mail notification to the Railway Police. The notification contains all the information needed to navigate police officer: GPS position and locomotive number, as well as information on the amount of fuel loss. Immediate and targeted information makes the entire detection process more effective. In addition, implementation of the system also has a preventive function. Carrier has a tool through which he can prevent unwanted losses of fuel and improve fuel economy.

ZSSK CARGO is one of the important and long-term customers of SFÉRA, a.s. XMatik^®.NET/ISND system is a proprietary product of SFÉRA, a.s. and provides as an out-of-the-box solution. It is an end-to-end solution for the customer from its installation, system preventing, operation support, to further development of the system.

The system provides a complete energy dispatching, which includes, among other, information on pumping and fuel consumption of individual locomotives measured by sensors in the tanks.
