Since 2010 company SFÉRA, a.s. has been holding a certificate of competence for the performance of research and development, issued by the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic. A valid certificate of ability to carry out research and development is a condition for obtaining funds for scientific research activities from the state budget (provided through the Agency for Research and Development Support, state programs, and industry projects) from grant support for science and research from the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and sports of the Slovak Republic. The certificate is issued and revoked by the Minister of Education based on the proposal of the evaluation committee.

Based on the assessment of competence in 2022, company SFÉRA, a.s. received a certificate of competence to carry out research and development for the next six years.
