Datahubs will have an important role in the smart system of the future.
Peter Chochol, energy manager of sféra, a.s. presented his outlook of the new energy model at the 9th edition of eFocus: Smart metering/smart grid conference. This also follows from EU winter energy package.

The necessity of data exchange and its administration will continue to grow. Datahubs provide simultaneous access to data for every market participant, including to variety of services for final consumers.
Other benefits of datahubs are standardization and security. The application of these systems in EU countries is varied. The discussion at the highest level about the possibility of creating energy datahub should also be launched in Slovakia.
