Manufacturing company PPS Group, a.s., based in Detva, with more than 60 years of experience as operator of the local distribution system had to deal with the legislative commitment to selectively implement intelligent metering systems (IMS).

The main objective of the project is to fulfill the legislative commitment. Company has also set further goals:

To use previous investment and to keep installed electricity meters that comply with the regulation.
To ensure the connection with the new collection center.
To automate data reporting to the market operator OKTE and company SEPS.
To make data accessible to end customers through a modern customer portal.

Our product XMatik^®.NET/ISOM was able to cover all above-mentioned requirements. For deployment, our customer chose a cloud infrastructure environment. Data are collected through its direct connection between the electricity meters and collection center. XMatik^®.NET/ISOM communicates with OKTE system through automated external interfaces with appropriate level of security.

For PPS Group, a.s., product is available in the form of a SaaS contract (software as a service). Technical support and control of the operation is in responsibility of experienced IT support team of SFÉRA, a.s. Functioning of the system is monitored remotely. It allows to react in time to a possible problem and prevent outages in data collection.
