26th International Trade Fair for Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Electronics, Lighting and Telecommunications took place on May 21 – 24, 2019 at Agrokomplex exhibition centre in Nitra. The fair is the most important event of its kind in Slovakia. From its beginning, it is regarded as the general engineering fair, which means that in addition to the engineering production it also displays the products and innovations from other parts of the industry.

Company sféra, a.s. presented at the fair the results of its partner project with the Bizzcom, s.r.o. The aim was to develop a solution for visualizing workplace of industrial production lines by using virtual/augmented reality and real-time.

This solution enables to design production line from individual robotic workplaces with the possibility of changing the order, space distribution, changes of dimensions, corridors for materials, safety, ergonomics and other parameters. The important additional value is visualization via virtual reality in the production hall that does not exist yet.

The accompanying expert program that mapped the current issues and trends was also an integral part of the fair exhibition. This year’s topics were “Innovation potential in the industry”, “New technologies and practices in the engineering sector” and “Development of dual education as one of the methods to find skilled workforce”.
