Successful ENERGOFÓRUM^® 2017

High professional standards, favorable conditions for knowledge sharing and personal contacts. More than 300 experts did not miss the opportunity to take part in the ENERGOFORUM^® 2017 conference. The new format of its 12th edition has combined the themes of electricity and gas into one event. The conference took place at the Grand Hotel in Jasna, on October 12 and 13, 2017, under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic.

The first session of the conference was focused on innovations and trends, which lead to decarbonisation, decentralization and digitization in energy sector. Next panel discussions were focused on the domestic electricity market and its trends, the position of natural gas in the energy mix, the modernization of the domestic gas market as well as the relationship between distributors and energy providers.

Professional foreigner speakers enriched the conference. Nenad Pacek, prominent economist and strategist, talked about the impact of the global economy on the energy sector. Robert Seeger, an online marketing expert, has taken participants into the world of digital technologies of today and of the future. These will be necessary for modern market participants.

ENERGOKLUB as the new expert-social platform will bring discussions about energy sector topics throughout the year besides the conference event.
