Ukrainian operator of the short-term electricity market undergo by independent audit. Functioning of the XMtrade^®/PXS receives positive assessment.

Global audit company AC Crowe Ukraine completed its first independent audit at the Market Operator (ДП «Оператор ринку») last week.

During the last two months, the auditor had been examining how the Market Operator in carrying out its duties in strict accordance with the law, in particular with the rules of the day-ahead and intraday market. Audit was focused largely on the operation of the XMtrade^®/PXS system, which was developed by SFÉRA, a.s., for the purpose of organization of the day-ahead and intraday electricity market in Ukraine.

As well, the auditor had been examining setting and operation of order processing processes for individual market participants for the sale/purchase of electricity. In the final report, auditor highlighted safe and correct functioning of the XMtrade^®/PXS system and confirmed the correct functioning of the processes of selling/buying electricity through the system.
