Virtual reality – revolution in employee training |
6/13/2019
The 19th National Forum on Maintenance 2019 (NFM) aimed on new trends and technologies in maintenance. SFÉRA, a.s. again supported the conference as the general partner.
This year we primarily focused on employee education by using virtual reality. This technology may be applied not only in PC games but finds its use also in industry. The various possibilities of its utilization were demonstrated on pilot project presented by Ing. Juraj Bezděk. He introduced a project we implemented in the company SLOVNAFT, a.s. The actual presentation included live demonstration of this solution.
Our expert Ing. Marek Molnár explained other forms of VR utilization in the petrochemical industry in detail in his article in the Údržba (Maintenance) magazine.
Visitors of our stand at NFM had a unique opportunity to try our solution of visualization of production lines layouting by using virtual/augmented reality. SFÉRA, a.s. developed the project in cooperation with Bizzcom, s.r.o.
The NFM conference brings together leading managers and specialists on maintenance, representatives of service providers and product developers, representatives of key companies from wide range of industries as well as academics.
