On November 1, 2015, the Hewlett-Packard company split globally into two separate companies, namely Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), specializing in solutions for corporate IT infrastructures, including servers, data storage and cloud technologies, and HP Inc. specializing in products for end customers and smaller businesses, mainly in the field of computers and printers.
