Last week, our colleagues Robert Maier and Patrik Rzavský returned to their alma mater to represent SFÉRA at the Business Breakfast event. They were joined by our HR colleagues.
The event opened with a short presentation where they introduced SFÉRA, our solutions, and opportunities for collaboration with students.
During the discussion, they focused on current topics at the intersection of energy and IT – from electricity trading and energy sharing to data-driven solutions for the energy sector, as well as cooperation with key partners and institutions such as the European Commission and OKTE. They also highlighted our solutions in the areas of central data warehousing, renewable energy, and other key products we are developing.
Our priority is to ensure that students who choose to collaborate with us gain experience on real projects, benefit from expert mentoring, and get a first-hand understanding of how a professional working environment operates.
Another interesting topic was our upcoming VR application for students, which combines modern technologies with education. This interactive tool allows users to navigate virtual university spaces – including a laboratory, classroom, and conference room. Through various tasks, such as identifying energy losses or sorting waste, users earn points, with their results evaluated in a final ranking.
Following our recent participation in the Job Fair, this event represents another step in connecting academia with real-world practice. We are already preparing further activities and meetings with students.
We would like to thank the organizers for the invitation and all participants for the inspiring discussions and welcoming atmosphere.
