Supporting young talent and connecting research with real-world practice have long been an important part of our activities. Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from the Dominik Tatarka Secondary School in Poprad to SFÉRA’s premises.

The meeting took place in cooperation with the Kempelen Institute of Intelligent Technologies (KInIT) as part of the initiatives of OZ BrAIn and the #IorAIproject, with which we have been connected through a long-standing partnership in the energy sector.

On behalf of SFÉRA, the students were welcomed by our colleague Rastislav Krbaťa, Director of Strategy and Compliance, who gave a brief introduction to our company and its activities.

The main presentation was delivered by Róbert Belanec, a PhD student at KInIT. During his talk, he introduced students to the world of artificial intelligence, research, and KInIT’s current projects, while also highlighting career opportunities and pathways for young people interested in this rapidly evolving field.

We believe that connecting theory with practice in this way is highly valuable for students, helping them gain a better understanding of their future career opportunities and professional direction.
