The Life Defender research project (the COVID-19 project), focused on the topic of experimental development of a software and hardware platform for the integration of records of data on the entry of persons into premises and events, data on the course of treatment in home quarantine, data collection from conducted tests for the presence of the disease, as well as on the disinfection of premises in a single information system, was successfully completed. The project was implemented in cooperation with Bizzcom, s.r.o. in the period from 02.09.2021 to 30.06.2023. The result of the project was software, demo versions of which are available on the project website https://lifedefender.sk/.

As part of the implementation of the project, our colleagues managed to submit a patent application for the technological procedure of loading an augmented reality scene using a selected 2D QR code with the possibility of editing the scene.
