In this year's first issue of its E-bulletin, the research agency published examples of successful projects selected from the total number of 162 contracted projects. One of the two presented projects is the International Center of Excellence for Research of Intelligent and Secure Information and Communication Technologies and Systems - II. Stage.  The mentioned project is being carried out in cooperation with a consortium of 4 research institutions, consisting of the applicant (Atos IT Solutions and Services LLC) and three partners. Two of them  are research institutions (the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and the Institute of Materials and Machine Mechanics, Slovak Academy of Sciences) and one of them is a business entity -  our company SFÉRA, a.s. The project is focused on independent research and developments, industrial research, and experimental developments of new rational solutions responding to current trends and the requirements of Directive (EU) 2018/2001 on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources. We are pleased that the project we are participating in was recognized in this way.

The Research Agency is a state budgetary organization with a legal personality and is connected to the state budget by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic (MESRS SR). It was established on January 1, 2007, but operated under the name Agency of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic for EU Structural Funds (ASFEU) until June 30, 2015.
